Diet, Health & Fitness for Abundant Life: Wellness Works Wonders!

Wellness Coach Darla Andrews will present valuable, helpful tips in “Wellness Works Wonders: Diet, Health & Fitness for Abundant Life.” It’s never too late to start good habits for great health, so plan on attending this informative presentation. Some of our church members enjoy Darla’s group and private workout sessions, and you’ll see why when you meet Darla. Her energy and enthusiasm is contagious!
About Darla:
Darla Andrews has been a fitness enthusiast for over 25 years. Her passion for fitness and helping others started when she was 19 years old, teaching group exercise at a small gym in San Diego. Over the years, while raising her five daughters, she continued to teach group exercise classes off and on for fun and in 2007 became a Certified Personal Trainer. In addition, she is a NASM Certified Senior Fitness, Corrective Exercise Specialist and Fitness Nutrition Specialist.
Being a mother of five and running her own business, she understands how difficult it can be to find time to exercise and keep up with everything. By the time her youngest daughter was around 3 years old, she found herself out of shape, low on energy and ready to get back to making her health and fitness a priority again. She began working out consistently and developed a love for running in her early 40s. She loves to challenge herself and has completed 2 Full Marathons, 5 half marathons, several Mud Runs and a Triathlon. In 2013, at age 49, she competed in her first Figure Competition, placing 1st in her class and Overall in her division and in 2015, at age 51, she earned her Pro Card in the INBA and competed in the Natural Olympia, placing 2nd as a Masters Figure Pro. Through challenging herself to do things she never thought possible, she has grown stronger in all areas of life. Her passion is to help others achieve their goals and not only build their best body, but build their best life as well.
